A Cairn as defined by Merriam-Webster Dictionary, is “a heap of stone piled up as a memorial or as a landmark”. The Cairn can symbolize that someone is buried in a particular place, or that a battle occurred in the spot. A Cairn also shows the direction of a trail.
The word “Legends” has multiple meanings, all of which fit very well with what we do at New Legends. From revisiting “stories from the past that are believed by many people, but cannot be proved to be true” to “an important person who is known for doing something in a particularly notable way”, to “an explanation for the way that things are laid out – like the symbols on a roadmap” — exploring legends is what we do.
At New Legends, we believe that the patterns of the past have contributed to the persons we have become and will ultimately be passed along to our future generations. While we don’t typically dwell on what came before, we do generally explore relationships, events, and significant people who have contributed to the shaping of our selves to this point. What we do with what has been given to us is now up to us. We are here to journey along side you as you leave behind the “legends” that are no longer useful, strengthen those already existing in your life that enrich you, and create — by building connections with yourself and others — the “new legends” that you choose as your legacy. This joint expedition if taken, can result in the discovery of a lifetime.
