Individual therapy begins by getting to know who you are, and what really matters to you. Together, we will identify circumstances that are causing you difficulty in your life. Whether you are dealing with individual concerns such as depression, anxiety, anger, or stress, or are having problems in a relationship with a significant person in your life, we will develop a plan to help you learn how to handle these challenges in the most effective way. Skills are taught and practiced in sessions with time in between for you to try them out. When we come back together, we’ll talk about what worked and what didn’t. At other times, you may just need someone to talk to and you are not even sure yet what the problem is. We can help with that too.
